By using rules.city you accept the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. What the service is

rules.city is an independent, English-language civic information portal covering cities worldwide — parking, public transport, city hall procedures, events, press releases and related topics. It is not an official government service and is not affiliated with any municipality or public authority.

2. Accuracy, and its limits

Content is assembled by an automated pipeline that reads public official sources and uses a language model to translate them into English and structure them. This process can introduce errors, omissions and translation artefacts, and sources change without notice.

Every page cites the source it came from and shows when it was last verified. For anything legally binding or time-sensitive — fees, deadlines, permits, opening hours — verify on the official source before acting. We provide the information "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness or continued availability.

Pages for which no data has yet been collected say so explicitly and carry no information; their presence does not imply that the underlying service does not exist in that city.

3. Third-party content and links

The site links extensively to municipal websites, transit operators and other third parties. We do not control their content, availability or privacy practices and are not responsible for them. Rights in material originating from official sources remain with those sources.

4. Accounts and your contributions

Signing in with Google is optional and enables ratings, likes and forum contributions. You are responsible for what you post. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringing content, personal data of other people, or spam.

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display your contribution on the site. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these terms.

5. Acceptable use

Automated mass extraction of the content, circumvention of technical protections, deliberate overloading of the infrastructure, and any use that degrades the service for other visitors are not permitted.

6. Corrections and removal

If a page contains an error, or if you hold rights over material shown here and want it removed, write to admin@rules.city with the page URL and what should change. We correct or remove promptly.

7. Advertising

The site carries advertising served by third-party networks. Ad content is not ours and does not constitute an endorsement. How data is processed for advertising is described in the privacy policy.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the site.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the revision date shown above.

10. Operator and applicable law

rules.city is operated by Docs Printing SRL, VAT RO22749955, Trade Register J12/4917/2007, Str. Lacul Roșu nr. 5, ap. 5, Cluj-Napoca, 400614, Romania.

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are settled amicably where possible, failing which by the courts competent at the operator's registered office.
